The ECEG co-signed European private employers’ statement on the European pillar of social rights

More competitiveness to sustain the social dimension of Europe

Ahead of the European Commission’s high-level event, the ECEG co-signed the European private employers’ statement on the European Pillar of Social Rights.
European employers

  • underscored the need to focus on proper enforcement and application of already existing EU social legislation
  • referred to the role and place of social partnership, and
  • elaborated on benchmarking envisaged as part of the European pillar of social rights.
